We are planning to stay here during our upcoming trip, in one of the cabins for a night, while going down the GOR, however... after reading through 5 pages of reviews here, every second mentions how rude the staff is, also i have only seen 1 reply by the management and it worries me a bit that this comes up so frequent (can't be signed off as a 1 off anymore), so to the people who have stayed here, is this really an issue, yes, no?

Hi AngMo, in my experience at Cumberland river the staff were very helpful and courteous. I was there with my 2 kids for a quiet camping weekend. I think you will find that some of those who have posted complaints were probably told to turn music down and stop being rowdy after 10pm. When we stayed there were a few large parties drinking and with music blaring into the late night. I hope this helps. Richard.
