Depends on what you're looking for. If you want healthy food you’ll have a hard time finding it. Their menu has salad and home made soup, but when we were there they were out of both. So only unhealthy choices were left. Unhealthy but tasteful. But I hope you’re going for the animals and not the food
How much time would you recommend we spend at Apenheul?

You can easily spend a good 4 to 5 hours there if you take your time and spend some more time at the area where the monkeys walk around freely and see the shows. Enjoy your stay!
