The beach is pretty but it’s nothing spectacular. There are no chairs so you need to lay on your towel on the sand. Catherine’s is the nicer restaurant and Bumpkins is the casual beach bar. Local spot olivia c的完整评论
How far is it and how safe is it to walk from Nelson's Dockyard to Piegeon Beach? How feasible is it to get a bus or taxi from Nelson's Dockyard to this bech and a taxi from the beach to the port/cruise terminal in St John's? Can you rent an umbrella and chair at the beach and,if so,how much?

There is more than one route. If you are fit and brave, there is an 'over the top' walk that is quite high and involves a bit of scrambling and some rough terrain. This is about a mile. The road walk is about half an hour, half flat and then a little hilly at the end, but easily manageable. There are plenty of taxis in Antigua (We used Del Taxi all holiday - he was amazing, offering advice and help above and beyond anything we have experienced before). St John's is about an hour's drive from Nelson's Dockyard. Both Nelson's Dockyard and Pigeon's beach are well worth visiting. There is covered seating at the beach, but no loungers/brollies. Whilst this does not suit everyone, it means that the beach remains largely unspoilt. Please go - we loved it!
What is the cost of the shuttle from English Harbour to Pigeon Beach? Do they accept US currency? How frequent does it operate/schedule? Are chairs available at the beach? What is the charge?

Catherine's have lovely comfortable loungers all you need to do is spend money on their lovely cocktails and lunch !
Please can you tell me the name of the Ladies boutique shop at Pigeon Beach (by Catherines bar & restaurant) and do they have a website address? It's opposite a boutique that sells sail bags. Look forward to reply. Thank you, Elspeth
