But you can "sand" out the scratches with sandpaper ... Finish by applying a stainless steel cleaner/polish. This technique will also work for removing scratches from stainless steel sinks.

Note: Some stainless steel is clear-coated ... which come with polishing compounds and sanding disks of various grains. Be sure to follow any instructions included with the kit.
