HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - An American airlines flight had to return to the airport for a mechanical issue Friday afternoon.

A plane flying out of Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, aborted landing due to helicopter traffic a day before the midair collision.
