Man, 88, dies in New Bedford fire, blaze appears accidental, officials say
A New Bedford fire that killed one person and left four other people hurt Monday appeared to be accidental, authorities said in a statement. The victim was identified Tuesday by Bristol District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn’s office as Alfred Martin, 88, of New Bedford.
