It is not intended to be taken apart and cleaned and regreased. It's just a spring piston. This video shows how to take it apart and lube it. Looks pretty basic.

2023年12月1日 · The Specialized Future Shock seems like a bad design for climbing hills. I am not riding the Sirrus hard, but when a hill is before me, the Future Shock allows the stem/bar to bop up/down when I try to push/pull on the bar to gain leverage/torque on the pedals.

The 1.5 comes with 3 springs of differing strength that can be installed to increase the amount of compression force required to move it down.

2018年10月14日 · If you find another bike you like, but are stuck on the idea of having a future shock, let me recommend the redshift shock stop stem. Similar concept, but simpler and beautifully executed. You could buy whichever bike and put a shock stop on.
