I'd agree that for most well made guitars having the nut cut properly is one of the most important variables. The only design/feature I struggle with is the Bigsby. 2006年11月9日 · My main three guitars are a 73 tele dlx, a faded Gibson LP, and a Ric 620. The tele holds very well, but is mildly susceptible to the weather esp this time of year. The LP is very tempermental esp the G string despite a good setup.

2010年6月12日 · I have 2 that really standout as unplugged couch guitars. The best is a Gibson Melody Maker RI with a pigtail aluminium bridge. The thing sounds almost like an acoustic, and is very very light and comfortable to play. The other is a Gretsch DouJet. I think the semi-hollow is what does it for this one.

2022年6月16日 · - they keep all guitars very well in tune, but need tweaking, when starting a gig, then stay in tune ( except when drastic temp changes outside, which happens) - on any electric ( even after tuning stretching new strings) they will go uniformly flat just a bit, during the 1st set of a gig ( new strings, I mean)

2015年11月18日 · Some of the guitars Carl Perkins used were a goldtop Les Paul, an Epiphone Emperor, a MicroFrets, a Peavey T-60, and a G&L. In the 1970s or 1980s Charlie Feathers played a Yamaha SA-30. Although I have a couple Gretsches- a Double Anniversary and a Country Club- I am most likely to play rockabilly on a 1956 Gibson ES-175D or 1960 ES-330TD.

2023年5月9日 · Obviously partscasters are going to be your best option. Eastman makes many hollow/semi that are 1 3/4". Just browse their website. All of the Rickenbacker 600 series models are 1 3/4", even the 6-string models. Sadowsky makes some, for example the SS-15 is 1 3/4". I'm sure there are many other "Jazz box" type guitars with this measurement.
