  1. Hoka shoes and rolling ankles? - Triathlon Forum - Slowtwitch …

2013年8月28日 · I thought the soft cushioning of the hoka would absorb any uneven or loose rocks but I guess that isn’t the case. I notice it also happens when I used to wear softer neutral shoes like the Brooks launch. Since I’m used to wearing stability shoes, maybe it has to do with the lack of a post or something. Anycase, thanks for the responses.

  2. Hoka, I give up. What shoe now? - Triathlon Forum - Slowtwitch …

2024年6月3日 · Hi all. I’m a competitive 50-54 age grouper with dicey knees. Hoka shoes helped. When they released the Rocket X2, it was a game changer. It was easy on my knees and fast AF. I think Hoka has completely lost their way. A new model every week, but nothing geared to sprint/oly distances at a fast pace. The X2 is a GREAT shoe. Mine are near their end of life …

  3. Plantar Fasciitis - Hoka shoes a solution? - Triathlon Forum ...

2013年4月26日 · Help please, I’ve had plantar fasciitis in my left foot for 7 months. I thought I was getting over it, and started increasing my training, but it came back with a vengeance and I’m sidelined from running again. I’m doing all I can with ART, and night boots etc. I’ve gone from wanting to train hard for a pb at a 70.3 in July and Challenge in August this year, but now I’m …

  4. Hoka Cliftons are destroying my toes - Triathlon Forum

2017年3月12日 · I felt like the Clifton was a hard brick with zero cushioning and I kept getting weird aches and pains. Moving on…the Claytons are awesome and have a lot of toe room. I raced all my 70.3s in the Clayton last year. Hoka just released the Clayton 2 …

2021年12月5日 · Three Shoes will have mid-soles that in-part feature a HOKA specific SCEVA compound that they call ProFlyX. Both the Road and Trail Product Line Managers discussed the 2022 line of shoes with Believe in the Run.

  7. Can high stack running shoes cause Achilles problems?

2021年7月7日 · The Boston 10 is a bad copy of a Hoka, with a similarly high but narrow and not very stable heel. Adidas didn’t get this one right. For me Hokas with their giant heels, fixed my Achilles problems. These are stable cushioned shoes and I’d recommend trying these for your next ‘high stack’ experiment.

2024年10月9日 · Also, all of these shoes meet World Athletics’ requirements for stack height in a race — meaning HOKA’s Skyward X, for instance, is on the cutting room floor. HOKA Rocket X 2 The longest tenured shoe on this list, the current generation Rocket has been a staple of triathlon events since it first hit pavement at the two day IM World ...

  9. Anybody Have No Luck with Hoka Shoes? - Triathlon Forum

2013年5月16日 · There is enough positive feedback on the Hoka’s that I am tempted to give them a try. I am 5’10", 150 lbs, 53 yrs old. I have been injury prone for almost 2 years now, mostly lateral knee issues. I have also been through many different types of shoes and inserts without any relief. Who out there has given the Hoka’s a try but still struggles with injury. I would hate …

I’m thinking about Brooks Hyperion Max or Hoka Mach 6. Maybe some ON but don’t know their models much. Could you please advice? Thanks.
