Fast forward to the end of the series and due to Kubo's health Isshin's character shows up and does nothing. 15 years of build up with no payoff. Of all the characters who were forgotten about due to Kubo's bad health, Isshin's bankai annoys me the most.

Isshin should use this stage before he runs out of rejatsu, or else it will not work.

2015年1月8日 · Isshin's Bankai will take his power and turn it into fire, then cloak his body in it. The blood thing may just be an extra power Isshin has because of the slight difference in his and Ichigo's reiatsu. However, for the most part, their reiatsu is the same and so, their Bankai should mostly be the same.

2017年12月14日 · His relationship with Ryuken being woven into this scenario is also an intriguing bit of storytelling. I like how these two are essentially "frienemies". The carefree Isshin paired with the stony-faced Ryuken made for some funny post-credit omake skits in the anime. In a more relatable sense, Isshin and Urahara seem to make a good pair, as well.

Isshin's Shikai name: 剡月 | Engetsu So I think Isshin's bankai name: 炎月 | Engetsu | Flaming/Blazing/ Moon. Because it's obvious. No other reason why his shikai would be called Engetsu unless it's to do this. Plus a flaming moon is like a sun eclipsed by the moon. Kinda contrasting Ichigo's black moon (and yes black sun too).

2022年5月11日 · Aizen knows About Isshin’s bankai because the current Gotei 13 don’t really keep secrets from each other. For the most part they are willing to talk about their Zanpakuto over lunch. It’s a sign of respect and honor to discuss such matters with another captain, or seated officer, or even just to answer the question posed by a cadet.

2022年9月26日 · They only have to show there bankai for the examination. That doesnt mean they have to show entire arsenal. Byakuya himself said only 1 person seen Senkei before which means he never showed it during captain exam. So Isshin or anyone else wouldnt have a reason to show all their shikai moves or bankai moves, they just have to show they achieved it.

We know his Bankai causes his body strain, and since he is the one who taught Ichigo the Final Getsuga Tensho, he also stated that his Engetsu was the same when he learned it. His bankai is busted and as far as we know, Isshin doesn't have something to match that. Heck we don't even know how good his Kido is since we haven't seen him use any Bakudo or Hado. Isshin is an expert fighter as was shown when he went up against Aizen but beyond that Shunsui's shikai and bankai are just too much to deal with without ...

2022年1月28日 · Isshin being a noble probably put him in the Reiastu tier of Byakuya. It's just hard to powerscale Isshin bc he only had two fights in the series and both were inconclusive. He showed great physical strength vs Aizen but who knows if Aizen was actually trying. He was doing fine against White before Aizen stabbed him in the back.
