2017年12月4日 · I have a grundfos constant pressure system that was installed about 2 years ago. Two months ago I noticed the pump was running constantly even when the main valve was shut. I replaced the check valve and that took care of that problem but now the pump runs full speed and then shuts off every few seconds. The pressure oscillates between 90 and 50.

Dealer repaired and said it must have been damaged by someone banging into it. Second problem, a few months later, was that the expansion tank started leaking around weld at stem.

I would like to maintain about 70 psi or more as the shut off pressure. What size pump and tank should we use for a standard or cp system and is the cp system worth the added cost??

2008年1月9日 · Variable Speed Pumps, sometimes called constant pressure pumps were made to sell and make money, not to keep a homeowner happy. The constant pressure is a good thing but, I am seeing 35 to 40% failures within the first two years on all brands except Grundfos.

2008年6月28日 · Have a 5 year old Grundfos cu301 system with 2 gal pressure tank. Last winter the controler changed from 70psi to 40psi and we could not change the pressure. Well repair came and said system was fine, but system had been locked with a remote control. He put controler back to 70psi and made sure pressure in tank was 70% of system pressure.

2007年6月2日 · I have been out of town. As far as I am concerned, the Grundfos SQE is the best of the variable speed systems available. However, the CSV will duplicate the performance of the constant pressure pump while water is being used, and will give you the benefit of being able to use water from a small tank during short term water uses.
