2023年5月23日 · I made a 2D platformer game in 2018 using Unreal Engine 4 and it wasn't a great experience. There have been improvements to the engine in regards to 2D. Same thing goes with plugins for 2D. I'd say that you should look at what you need from Unreal Engine and evaluate if there are any particular tools.

2021年6月1日 · Gonna join the choir and say it's not very good for 2D. Something to bear in mind is that Unreal Engine was designed for Unreal Tournament. The farther you stray from that genre, the more problems you are going to run into. Two main hurdles for 2D in unreal. Number one the sprite utility is not very good. Game maker studio is better.
