2023年2月23日 · The 138 Hz seems to be a limitation of either the 4K panel or the controller running it. I hope we see improvements next year because the LG 4K OLED TVs have been rather stagnant for years now, with barely any difference between the CX,C1,C2 and C3 in the smaller 42/48" sizes. Meanwhile Samsung's 4K QD-OLED TVs seem to be stuck at 144 Hz.

2023年2月18日 · Take it from me, you DONT want to cheap out with VA monitors when it comes to gaming. It will make 120 fps gaming feel substantially worse because of black smearing over other colors. Its just terrible and I ended up hating both times I tried going for a mid range VA in the 300-400 dollar range.

2020年5月10日 · Thanks for the confirmation! So, M1 Pro and M1 Max can do 4K 144Hz on DisplayPort. To drive two 4K 120Hz monitors through a TB4 dock, the M1 Max sends two SST streams compressed using DSC at half or one-third the data rate of 32.27 Gbit/s, so the total bandwidth can be either 32.27 or 21.51 Gbit/s.

2021年9月6日 · 4k 120hz 8-bit works on latest Intel Macs (at least w/ discrete). Currently on 2019 MBP 16", 5500M. Above posts w/ DSC being broken on Intel macs is accurate. I'm running 3x LG 27GN950 (current model is LG 27GP950) all three at 4k 120hz. If on Catalina, you can run DSC 144hz 4k (or scaled), this was working fine until Big Sur.

It supports it, yes, but games don't run at a full 4k/120. Graphics modes tend to be 1440p-4k/60, ever performance modes tend to run at 1080-1440/120. I guess the benefit of a 2.1 screen is not having to switch between the two. If you're going to buy another monitor anyway, then maybe selling your current one and saving up makes sense.

If you want a competitive eSports monitor, you get a 24"@1080p monitor with the highest refresh you can afford. They showed off 500Hz and 540Hz monitors if you're foolish enough to think that your eyes and reflexes can take advantage.

2024年2月19日 · 120/144 Hz refresh rate as I work on MacBook Pro which is capable of delivering higher refresh rate (I think lol). 4K is more for the future I think, I wouldn't like to change it next year. Any suggestions? Budget is <= $750/€700, something available on EU market.

2022年5月5日 · It has VRR support, HDMI 2.1, Gsync, Freesync, low latency boost, i think like 1 ms, 120hz @ 4k via HDMI 2.1. its amazing, so if you don't have a current graphics card then you won't get 120 hz as the tv only takes hdmi. I think Display Port 1.3 does 4k @ 120 so that may be the deal breaker
