2019年7月25日 · The Cu 2 O side serves as a catalytic oxygen gateway for continuous carbon diffusion through bulk Cu to grow the second graphene layer underneath the existing SLG template in a layer-by-layer manner. The as-grown graphene film can reach a BLG coverage of ∼95% with an AB-stacking percentage up to ∼99%.

Bilayer graphene can exist in the AB, or Bernal-stacked form, [2] where half of the atoms lie directly over the center of a hexagon in the lower graphene sheet, and half of the atoms lie over an atom, or, less commonly, in the AA form, in which the layers are exactly aligned. [3]

2024年1月19日 · Here, we propose a heat-resisting-box assisted strategy to produce nearly pure AB-stacked bilayer graphene single-crystal films on Cu/Ni (111) foils. With our technique, the particles on the Cu/Ni (111) surface are effectively eliminated, which greatly minimizes the occurrence of randomly twisted islands and uncontrollable multilayers.

2015年11月1日 · We found that the AB-stacked bilayer graphene can synchronously grow on Cu within a window of H 2 pressure in low-pressure CVD (LPCVD). Using this LPCVD process, we have experimentally synthesized large and continuous bilayer graphene films on Cu foil with a high coverage (over ∼95%) and a high AB stacking ratio of up to 90% within 30 min.

2016年7月14日 · Single-crystalline artificial AB-stacked bilayer graphene is formed by aligned transfer of two single-crystalline monolayers on a wafer-scale. The obtained bilayer has a well-defined interface and is electronically equivalent to exfoliated or direct-grown AB-stacked bilayers.
