They mentioned our horse and the Amish lady's comment was "our horses don't live that long." The Appaloosa is still here at 28 and still very ride able.

2024年2月1日 · By "flashy" I meant horses with flashy coats/colors or "chrome", paints, palominos, buckskins, even grays. I don't think I've ever seen an Amish person using a horse like that, they always seem to have horses with dark solid colors. But I do see them selling those kinds of horses sometimes, and I see them selling unusual breeds and crosses.
