The main thing with brushing against you is that wild birds are infested with mites - they don't generally live on people so just washing your hair, even once, will take care of that.

I’m a first time bird owner and just recently Lee my IRN started enjoying staying on my head. He’ll chew my hair and just stay there. It happened once or twice before but now it’s everyday. It can get annoying though because he’s tugging so I shoo him away but he keeps coming back. Just wondering what are your stances on this?

Regular shampoo should be adequate to clean your hair from the droppings. If the anti-bacterial soap were to accidentally get into your eyes, it would likely cause a burning and irritating sensation. This is mostly secondary to the pH of the soap.
