Bismuth is one of the original and current members of the Crystal Gems. Before the end of the Rebellion, she and Rose Quartz had a conflict of interests, leading to them falling out. This ultimately led to Bismuth being poofed, bubbled, and left inside of the Pink Dimension.

When a bubbled Gem is released, they instantly regenerate with seemingly no mental problems or awareness of their time contained as seen with Nephrite, Peridot, and Bismuth. The Gem selects an object that they wish to encase inside the bubble and concentrates to create a bubble that can surround the object.

Steven bubbles Bismuth's gem and pushes the Breaking Point into the lava, destroying it. After Steven tells them everything, the Crystal Gems put Bismuth's bubble in the Burning Room.

I read some theory that the reason Rose bubbled Bismuth is because if Bismuth was at the incident of Pink Diamond's shattering, she'll find it suspicious because she knew that the sword was supposedly only to "poof" the gem and never break the gem.

The weapon was made to shatter gems. Bismuth was released from her bubble about 5,000 years later, by Steven who accidentaly popped the bubble.

Steven re-enters to bubble the gem, but before he can, it shines and immediately transforms into a Gem with rainbow hair right in front of him. She raises her fists as if she needs to defend herself, then realizes she's alone. After leaving, Steven quickly explains that there's a Gem in Lion's mane. The Gems ask him to describe her.

Bismuth is a major character in Steven Universe. She is a member of the Crystal Gems whom Rose Quartz sealed away due to her building a weapon called the Breaking Point in order to shatter (kill) other Homeworld Gems and the Diamonds.

The reason bismuth made this weapon was to free all the gems who felt they were more than what they were made for, with Pearl being more than a slave, Garnet existing as a fusion, and bismuth being allowed to build whatever she wants.

2016年8月25日 · Bismuth believed that homeworld gems should be shattered and created a weapon, the breaking point, to do just that. When Steven was repulsed by that idea, Bismuth thought Steven was really Rose. Then she tried to kill him because Rose had poofed and bubbled Bismuth thousands of years ago for creating the breaking point weapon.
