2019年5月9日 · A 300cc bike is small only in America. I got back into riding after decades and started back in a motorcycle safety course. Pick a bike that's not very heavy. I went with the Rebel 500 because I had ridden before, grew up on manual transmissions in all vehicles, and had reasonable throttle control. It also wasn't much heavier than the 300.

A new base model Rebel 300 for 6k is a hard no from me. I got a gently used (approx 6500 miles) Rebel 500 ABS for $4600 and it came with aftermarket some aftermarket goodies like a windshield, extra seat, aftermarket and stock bars and passenger kit. You can get more for your dollar or if you’re flush with cash and need to support your local dealer, go for it.

2020年3月30日 · Rode it back to the Honda shop and the folks there could not have been nicer.The lead mechanic has a 500 so I traded him even for the V&H.The 500 rebel muffler is perfect for the 300.Deep sound and runs better. BTW,The V&H on the 500 sounds great!

2024年8月12日 · Hey all, I just traded in my street glide for the rebel 1100 in metallic blue. I wanted something lighter and a bit easier to maneuver. So far loving riding it, tossed on a mustang seat and ordered the Memphis shades gauntlet faring. Looking forward to many more rides before the snow and salt is here.
