Refresh Rate Multitool .exe | Page 2 | [H]ard|Forum
2007年10月12日 · When vsync is on and the app runs at the same FPS as the monitor refresh rate, then each rendered frame you see is exactly as it is drawn, so you know what to expect. Without vsync, there will be unpredictable image tearing so what you will see will depend BOTH on the performance of the monitor as well as LUCK, how the image tear turned out to ...
Refresh Rate Multitool .exe - [H]ard|Forum
2009年5月31日 · Hello (to anyone interested in monitor Refresh Rates and are moderately advanced computer users, and are not sensitive to flashing lights), I've made this extremely simple, but nonetheless quite handy (for at least 2-3 things) utility for monitor Refresh Rate testing. All it does is display...
VRR/Freesync Nvidia Display test thread - [H]ard|Forum
2019年1月15日 · VRR makes every game look good, but whatever you test I'd shoot for a target FPS range of 60-100. So far in my experience G-SYNC seems to look best when framerate is around 60% of the max refresh rate.
Reducing refresh rate below 50hz - [H]ard|Forum
2022年12月19日 · The only frame rate limiting with VRR which makes sense is limiting it to be just slightly below monitor maximum refresh rate eg. to 136fps on 144Hz monitor or 56fps on 60Hz monitor. This is because running within VRR range has less input lag than when hitting maximum refresh rate and relying on v-sync.
G-sync On vs. Off in FPS games? (my observation). - [H]ard|Forum
2011年1月15日 · You make it sound like GSync does something when framerates exceed the refresh rate. As a sanity check, just ran a source engine title with vsync off + gsync on. Framerate capped = no tearing. Framerate uncapped = tearing. Clearly Gsync is doing nothing towards tearing when beyond the refresh rate. I can't vouch for input latency benefits.
Check Fps higher than monitor refresh rate? - [H]ard|Forum
2022年7月26日 · Wondering if there is a way to check what your maximum fps would be if your PC can push higher than the maximum refresh rate of the monitor you are using? Reason, I have a 270hz 1440p monitor, and I want to know if I now get a 360Hz 1440p monitor, if my RTX 4090 powered PC can push beyond the maximum 270 fps limit I have reached on my current ...

True 120Hz from PC to TV!!! (Successful Overclocking Of HDTV / …
2013年7月25日 · What a huge difference in smoothness and reduction in blur. Just nuts. Tested with RRM (Refresh Rate Multitool) as well to verify. (NOTE: 720p was good; 1080p was frameskipping, but may be DVI adaptor (limitation). Best to test using direct HDMI-to-HDMI connection from PC-to-TV.)
Is 144Hz monitor Better than 60Hz one at 60FPS? - [H]ard|Forum
2019年12月1日 · The response time of the XV273 at 60 Hz is actually worse than the XB271HK (12.5ms vs. 11ms). At 120 or 144 Hz there should be no visible ghosting if you use G-SYNC. With the XV273 at 4K I would recommend setting the monitor's refresh rate to the highest available with G-SYNC and let your games run at an uncapped framerate.
240hz monitor user experience with sub 240hz content?
2010年5月10日 · (A) Massive input lag issues ONLY occurs on 240Hz monitors when you intentionally switch them to a lower refresh rate on a high-Hz monitor, e.g. 144Hz refresh rate on a 240Hz monitor that is not optimized to process 144Hz at low-lag. Or connecting a 60Hz-only or 120Hz-only console to a 240Hz monitor that has bad 60Hz latency.
