The battery electric Gillig Low Floor Plus was unveiled in May 2019. It uses a direct-drive traction motor with peak torque of 3500 Newton-metres. A 444 kilowatt hour lithium ion battery provides an estimated range of 150 miles. The bus uses plug-in charging.
