One acute illness and decision regarding minor surgery. If the patient returns with the same condition and gets another injection, no e&m would be warranted.

2009年3月4日 · I didn't even consider the cost of 1- 18ga needle to draw the meds, 1- 25ga needle to inject, 1- syringe, alcohol preps to wipe the vials and clean the betadine from the patient after the injection, betadine to prep the injection site, a 4x4 to clean and dry the site in preparation of the bandaid....oh, and let's no forget the bandaid.

2024年12月20日 · We have always used a 20550 with J3301 (Kenalog/Cortisone) together for a Dupuytrens Nodule injection but have noticed lately this being denied. This isn't the 20527 (Xiaflex), this is strictly a Cortisone injection performed in office into the nodule. Does anyone have a code that they use besides 20550 or 20527, again this is not Xiaflex. Thanks!
