2010年4月24日 · I'm looking for some death metal bands (any subgenre, but tech and 90s style are preferred) that play on 7-strings, and not simply 6s tuned down to B Standard, although feel free to share for anybody interested. Please, no 'core' of any kind, only real metal. Spawn of Possession immediately come to mind.

I want to find more metal bands that play 7 strings. I got a seven string a few months back and the only bands I play with it are Trivium, Unearth, and a little bit of Suicide Silence. However I’d like to hear what other bands play seven strings preferably not tuned super low.

2023年2月28日 · Well, to be fair, the first time a 7 string was used in popular music was by a Beach Boys-esque band called the Highwaymen iirc. And 7-sting classicals guitars have been used in Mexico, Spain, and Brazil for about a couple hundred years.
