Ill have to settle on my rare golden sword that DROPPED TWICE in 2 weeks.

It will come up again, but there are other good/evil (order/chaos actually, honestly) choices that are not “reach for the metaphorical sword”, though when you seal Astral Fissures, you will be presented with the choice again.

Nov 23, 2020 · You would be able to pay a few guys with steel swords to do your fighting for you, other than that a gold sword is about as useful as a chocolate spear. 😉 A mace head made from cast gold is the best option I could think of. It would look like crap after the first few hits on a hard target, but it would pack quite a punch.
