2019年9月2日 · I don't think it matters, but even if I chose my location manually (Denver) and try and play something it doesn't work. I also tried logging out and back in, uninstalling and reinstalling and even rebooting the Roku, Locast does the same thing no matter what.

Then, I went to my Roku stick for the living room, and went to settings and did an update request, and the Locast channel was added.

2023年5月8日 · There's nothing like Locast because nobody wants to get sued the way they did. Broadcast channels want to get paid to allow themselves to be streamed. You'd think they wouldn't care, since they are free over the air, but they are required to broadcast for free; they want to get paid for everything else.

2020年5月10日 · Hi. I have a roku box and the app locast.org. I can't get ota channels. I would like to record shows from locast to watch later. I don't have a NAS box and don't want this either. Similarly, I don't want to install plex on pc and have this running in the background. I know that Channels Plus requires a NAS box which is not ideal.

BUT Locast agreed to close down and not fight if one single thing was proven that they did to break the rules. So the mixing of funds being improperly used was the one way they picked. There were, I think, around a half dozen other things they could have been dinged on as well but it wasn't needed to end the case in the favor of the networks.
