I have a concrete patio that was overlaid with epoxy pebble or aggregate several years ago. The epoxy is slowly disintegrating so I want to remove it. What is the best method of doing this?

The only 'fix' for these issues is to tear out the whole floor and do it over (assuming they can somehow remove it without damaging the waterproofing). However, I do agree that you should stop any further demo, and get your contractor to repair it at his cost.
