The advantage to the wireless box is you don't need an active cable outlet to set one up. Really the best answer is going to depend on your home and where you need the box set up.

2021年2月17日 · We do have wireless cable boxes, but you will need a primary X1 cable box working to be able to use a wireless cable box. You could potentially have a modem and X1 cable box working off a splitter in one room and have a wireless X1 box working in that separate room.

The set top boxes receive the tv signal from the panoramic WiFi modem via a private network (that’s what I’m told by the cox guy)setup between the modem and the set top boxes.
