2020年6月12日 · I'm relatively new to welding, just bought a cheap Titanium Flux 125, and i'm really happy with it so far. The welder is able to run .030 and .035 wire. When i would want use one wire vs the other? is there general guide lines for when to use different size wires?

2020年7月21日 · Every wire manufacturer puts out a spec sheet, usually in PDF format, that lists the proper voltage and WFS combinations to use with that wire. 2021年5月17日 · I used to have one of those ac flux 125 welders. I couldn't get the wire feed up much beyond 3 on on the wire feed setting on either low or high selection. Mine ran best between 2 and 3. I had good luck running hobart E71T-11 wire with it. They are pretty low on power, but they will weld. AC flux core is a slow process.

2020年4月4日 · I could store well over 2000 pounds. I found the best thing to use was an electric 1500 watt heater. It keep all the wire toasty warm and moisture free. ONLY unopened cans of stick electrodes were keep there, once opened they went in a 300F hot box. TIG wire was keep there after it was opened and welders had to return unused wire daily.

2020年6月24日 · That was Harbor Freight Vulcan 71T-GS wire that came with the machine. I looked for some Lincoln NR211 at my local welding supply but they only had it in 18# rolls. I still have a roll of Chicago electric to use up. I will see what the difference is between the Vulcan and CE wire. The Vulcan seems to weld pretty good.

2020年5月7日 · i was welding cleats on 1/8” metal posts using 1/8” E6013 rods at 120A on 110v (only because I didn’t have the right plug for 220v off that generator). So my contribution is that in the case of a dual-voltage cracker box stick welder at 120A, if you have a generator that puts out 7500W continuous, you’re gtg!

2021年1月5日 · If you plan to do much TIG welding, go for the 125 minimum size. Even that size will run out quickly. You need 15-20 CFH for the gun to include the pre/post flow so you can see that an 80 CF tank is only going to give you about 4 hours of weld time at most. Unless you live 5 minutes from the LWS you will be going there often.

2020年4月2日 · I believe it has the HF capability also. Comes with all the leads, hoses, and torches + regulator. I am considering one. Also the 80 CF tanks are about the right size for the small user but they are $170-200 new plus around $40 to fill. Used ones hold their value but I see them for $100-125 on Craigs list.

2020年6月23日 · Spatter. So I stopped and broke out the wire brush, which made the welding easy again. Pic attached before I cleaned it up. I get into a 6011 rod mode out here on the ranch of welding up anything even with old paint on it. I have to stop myself and say "no this is a nice welder and nice job, stop being a wild man."
