At this moment, my Larrivee D-40 with Dazzo #70 system is plugged directly into the transmitter of the Carvin WG5 and I'm getting excellent tone from my VOX AG150 with the VOX's Channel Gain at about the same setting as it would be if the Dazzo was first fed into a preamp and set for proper gain-staging.

Sep 15, 2005 · Get a Mogami 18 foot instrument cable. It has a right angle plug for your guitar and a straight plug on the other end to go into the PADI. It is a regular unbalanced guitar cable. DO NOT get the 21 footer! Anything over 18 1/2 feet on an unbalanced cable, and you start to lose the high frequencies. They run about 42 dollars, but worth it.
