This display goes with a KU65 controller which means you should be able to connect a throttle to the controller and override the PAS. Anybody tried this and know whether it would work or not...or worse, damage the controller and/or the motor? A throttle input looks at the voltage from the throttle.

The controller may or may not have the wire to plug in a throttle, but its very likely if you open the controller, you can find out which pads to attach a wire to. Or, replace the controller if the original one is just that weak.
