2024年11月7日 · Games I Played in Performance (60 FPS) on Base PS5: Demons Souls was a case where Fidelity did look sharper, but Performance looked good and I appreciated 60 fps more. Definitely felt soft. Stellar Blade is an action game and really demands 60 fps, but this game can look extremely washed out, blurry, and just unstable at times.

Take those away and Series S sales would've collapsed much sooner; Series X sales would've fallen off hard a bit afterwards.

The second solution doesn't give you the PS5 library anyway so they may as well make a new platform that plays select PS5 games, ie Vita. It wasn't a big deal for PS5 Pro to need new profiles to be Pro because it's more powerful and plays everything that came before.
