2020年2月5日 · For some unknown reason the owners of the French Besson trademark decided to make a new line of trumpet in the early 1980s. Fortunately they choose top US maker Kanstul to design and produce the line, and Kanstul faithfully recreated the original horns, and many new models too. The Besson Meha and Brevete lived again.

2017年8月28日 · French F. Besson serials seem to be hard to come by. If you have a F. Besson horn with a 4 digit serial number, it is probably a Kanstul made after 1981. I've seen a lot of conflicting dates for 5 and 6 digit F. Besson serials.

Besson MEHA Trumpet - Original Pre-War French Model SN 96823
This is an original French Besson, not a Kanstul Besson! The French Bessons were the model that the great Vincent Bach used to model his Stradivarius line of trumpets, which now dominate the trunpet scene. This is a rare example of a French Besson Meha. Condition-wise, it is excellent. Silver is 90% present or so, but not original in our opinion.
