2015年9月1日 · Try UEFI only. Full UEFI will allow for the system boot disk to be partitioned with GPT rather than MBR. The biggest advantage of GPT over MBR is the ability to create more than 4 primary partitions and have partitions over 4tb in size.

However, USB drive only boots in UEFI mode, and not in legacy mode (I alternated between the two options in the BIOS menu). When the Windows installation process is started in UEFI mode, it cannot install Windows to a MBR drive.

It depends on the firmware of the system to which Windows 10 is being installed. Some months ago, I was trying to install to a Surface Pro 4 and a Surface Book and neither would boot with the USB drive formatted to NTFS.
