But the website says, that the free-version of malwarebytes will also have activated the premium version for the first 14-days (which would result in a parallel real time scan of avast and malwarebytes which I would like to avoid.)
Why "Trial" Version when I downloaded "Free" version 1.62.0.1300?
Jul 20, 2012 · If you didn't do that and the PRO trial was activated, it only means that, when the 14-day trial expires, MBAM PRO will revert back to MBAM Free version functionality. IOW, it will become only an on-demand scanner, and you will lose the real-time protection, scheduled scans/updates, incremental updates and other enhancements that MBAM PRO provides.

Panels, Alerts, etc. within the program will continue during the Trial period. During the trial it may popup alerts outside of the program as well.
