I can access the files if I have a direct link to them (for example if I've made a shortcut to that particular file in my bookmarks) but I can't navigate to them from my main Google Drive page.

Half year before, there was a plugin that let us do that, but now it is deprecated and replaced by another utility that forces the user to use the Gsuite apps instead the Microsoft ones.
