🌿 Did you know that there are at least 106 lemur species known to science? Yet, nearly all of them face a heartbreaking risk of extinction by midcentury. 🦠 Their environment is vanishing right before our eyes, and the clock is ticking. As IUCN lemur expert Jonah Ratsimbazafy shared, 'Just as fish cannot survive without water, lemurs cannot survive without the forest.' 🌳 Tragically, less than 10% of Madagascar's original forest remains, pushing these unique primates to the brink of survival.
