🐢Every winter on Cape Cod, sea turtles become stranded on Cape Cod beaches after becoming cold-stunned. Stranding happens when they stay too long in the bay, and the water temperature drops below 50 degrees. They are then unable to feed properly or swim and end up washed up on shore with the incoming tides.
