May is always my busiest month in the garden. I have been working hard to get my mulching done and my annuals all planted in containers and in the ground. I love to have it done by Memorial Day and I did it!! Now we get to sit in these rockers in the evenings and enjoy a nice fire and some soft music . Of course there is still a lot of work to do to keep the gardens looking they the way I want them to, including watering, weeding, pruning and adding new perennials here and there but I plan to do

I like to see spaces between my plants and I like to have repeating patterns that draw the eye down the perennial borders.
